What Is An Akhand Path?
In Sikhi the Guru (light from the darkness) is embodied in the writings of masters, teachers and saints. This compilation is a living work and is called the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. It is revered scripture and holds the key to the questions of life and existence. The Akhand Path is the traditional practice of reading the word of the Guru from the volumes of the Granth, from beginning to end, without stopping. The reading is passed from person to person, for two to three days, and ends with a Bhog Ceremony. Here we honor this tradition, and hope to share its beauty with you.
